Save Our Train Service Campaign. South West England. Home Page.

This website seeks to provide useful campaigning advice for the individual rail user.
It has a south west of England "flavour".

The website was established, during 2006, on the occasion of a public consultation on a new (December 2006) Greater Western Franchise rail timetable.
The draft timetable proposed substantial cuts in services. This is what has happened.

Watch out, our trains and carriages are slowly disappearing.

Our advice is to continue to make representation to Government on shortcomings in timetables.

* The December 2006 timetable is now published by FGW. It is published here. Click here. *

* Don't forget! Rail services are continually being revised. There is a new draft Cross Country franchise and a new South Western Franchise has just been awarded.
There are several useful things you can do. See the menu items to the left.
